As the women of Community Bible Church our desire is to encourage and help one another “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”(2 Peter 3:18a). We meet for Bible studies, in the spring and fall, on Thursday evenings, from 7 to 9pm. We’ve done studies like Moving from Fear to Freedom, by Grace Fox, and Mercy Triumphs: Lessons from James, by Beth Moore.
The Women’s Ministry also organizes events all year long to encourage fellowship among the women of CBC Ilderton. Every spring there is also a Women’s Breakfast, which is a great opportunity to invite out friends, connect with women from CBC and the community, and hear from some wonderful speakers.
If you have any questions, or would like to join one of the Bible Study or other Women’s Ministry activities throughout the year, please contact the office.
If you’re 14+ and enjoy playing volleyball, join us Mondays at 7:00 pm. Whether it’s been a week or a few years since you last played, everyone’s welcome! Please bring running shoes and water.
Please note, we will not be meeting for volleyball on Monday, October 9th.
Women’s Dinner Out
Join other women form CBC Ilderton for dinner and fellowship at the Four Season on Tuesday, October 17th at 6:00 pm. Sign-up in the church foyer, or drop us a quick email at the office.
Women’s Bible Study
This fall we will be working through “Entrusted”, by Beth Moore. This 6 week study of 2 Timothy will encourage us to guard what is entrusted to us and to further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others. Join us for a wonderful time of fellowship, studying God’s Word, sharing with one another, and praying for one another. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The study begins on Thursday, October 26th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Cost is $20, for the workbook. You can sign-up in the church foyer, with Darlene Tompkins, or send a quick email to the church office.
