Remember, in His Word, God has:

  • Something to see – what does the text say
  • Something to understand – what does it mean
  • Something to apply – what does it mean to me
  • Something to praise – for what are you thankful?

(1) Through the Bible

Day 1: Luke 1-2Day 4: Luke 7-8
Day 2: Luke 3-4Day 5: Luke 9-10
Day 3: Luke 5-6Day 6: Luke 11-12

This Sunday the preaching text is from John 2:1-12 and the theme is miracles. John tells us why he wrote his gospel: “these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. (Jn 20:31)” John wants his readers to find “life in his name”; one of the ways he does that is recording the great works of ‘the Christ’. His first miracle is found in John 2 at the wedding of Cana.
