Remember, in His Word, God has:

  • Something to see – what does the text say
  • Something to understand – what does it mean
  • Something to apply – what does it mean to me
  • Something to praise – for what are you thankful?

(1) Through the Bible

This week, we come to the end of our journey through the Story of Everything. Our “Through the Bible” reading program finishes with Revelation 22. The last sentence in the bible is simply, “Amen.” What a journey it has been for us, starting way back in September of 2020. For those of you who have travelled from Genesis 1:1 through to Revelation 22:21 … well done! I trust you have been encouraged as we have endeavoured to put on display the glory of Christ as found on every page. This Sunday, the sermon is titled: Christ, the Centre of the Story. The preaching text is Ephesians 1:10, “as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”

For the Key Passages and Key Verses I have selected a number of verses that relate to the preaching text (Ephesians 1:10). The lists are identical with Day 6 being the only exception; on that day the Key Passages reads Ephesians 1:10 in context from verses 3 to 10.
