We believe that the Bible alone, and the Bible in its entirety, is the written Word of God and, therefore, inerrant in the original documents and absolutely authoritative.

We believe that there is but one living and true God, the Creator, Preserver and Governor of all things, who is Spirit, infinite in being, and in all perfections. We further believe that one God exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; all three having the same nature, attributes, and perfections, but each executing distinct, but harmonious, operations in the work of creation and of redemption.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, in His incarnation united to His divine nature a true human nature, and so continues to be both God and man, in two distinct natures but one Person, forever. He was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, perfectly obeyed the law of God, poured out His blood on the cross as a vicarious atonement for sin, and rose again bodily on the third day for our justification; He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He now lives to make intercession for His redeemed.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells and seals every believer until the redemption of His body, the Church. We further believe the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and in consequence incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God, bringing sin, guilt, depravity and death upon all his posterity except the virgin-born Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that God in His mercy and grace saves all who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ, justifying them through faith in the Saviour and giving them new life by the Holy Spirit. God further wills that all who believe should grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. True believers are kept by the power of God, so that none is lost; but the idea that this secure position in Christ entitles one to sin with impunity is false and pernicious.

Having professed faith in Jesus Christ, a Christian is united to Christ,¹ our Head,² and with the body of believers throughout the ages in the universal Church,³ expressed through a commitment to a local church.⁴ Under the oversight and shepherding of local elders,⁵ the church is built up through Word and prayer,⁶ through the ordinances of baptism⁷ and the Lord’s supper,⁸ and through mutual ministry⁹ and discipline.¹⁰ By loving one another¹¹ and proclaiming Christ, the church goes out to make disciples for God’s glory.¹²

We believe that, at a day and hour known only to God, He will rapture His church to Himself and, our Lord Jesus Christ shall come again personally, bodily, visibly, gloriously, to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace. We believe in the resurrection of the just and the unjust. The just will bodily rise to the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven. The unjust will rise to the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in hell.
