Remember, in His Word, God has:
- Something to see – what does the text say
- Something to understand – what does it mean
- Something to apply – what does it mean to me
- Something to praise – for what are you thankful?

This Sunday’s message finds us in the Book of Ezekiel, a priest exiled to Babylon amongst a large number from Judah in 597BC. Ezekiel pronounces judgment against Judah because of their sin and rebellion and warns of the coming fall of Jerusalem (1-24), judges the other nations (25-32), but also speaks of hope for those who repent and turn to the Lord (33) and ultimately points toward the hope of a future restoration (40-48) – a restoration of temple worship, justice, and fulness of life in Yahweh’s presence. The book ends dramatically with the promise of a new city whose name is, “Yahweh is There.” Our theme for the week is hope.
